Oh, I forgot to mention; the structure of the "utils" module also makes it
impossible to use multiple reactors with it. I'd like to avoid inserting this
assumption into the codebase more than absolutely necessary. utils.schedule is
particularly bad because it requires varargs and we can't insert an optional
'reactor' kwarg.
