<p class="style3"><strong> <span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Verdana"> CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 22, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HouseRaising, Inc. (OTCBB: HRAI.OB)</strong>, a managed service provider to the custom homebuilding industry, today reported that its work in process, as of May 15, 2007, rose to $8 million from $6 million at March 31, 2007. <br />

Greg Wessling, HouseRaising’s chairman, president and CEO, said, “HouseRaising made significant progress in the first quarter of 2007.”<br />
<br />
“In the regions in which we operate, The Carolinas and the Gulf Coast,” he added, “HouseRaising’s business has been largely unaffected by the national housing slowdown. With a growing backlog of home construction in the pipeline, we are confident that HouseRaising is on firm footing for rapid growth in the year ahead.”<br />
         <br />
         Among the key accomplishments since the beginning of the year, he reported that HouseRaising:<br />

<li>Has work in process of $8.0 million in new homes and remodeling contracts expected to be built over the next 12 months, which is $5.0 million higher than a year ago and $2.0 million higher than at March 31, 2007; and <br /></li>
<li>Successfully launched HouseRaisingREALTY, LLC to assist homebuyers in disposing of their existing homes or acquiring lots for their new custom homes. The company closed sales transactions of houses priced at more than $1.39 million, generating $39,000 in revenue for the quarter versus none in the same period last year. <br /></li>
<li>As of May 15, HouseRaisingREALTY has: <br /></li>
<ul type="circle">
        <li>Closed additional sales transactions totaling $1.32 million, which will generate approximately $33,500 in commission income; <br /></li>
        <li>Had pending sales transactions of $5.6 million, which will generate about $175,000 in commission income; and <br /></li>
        <li>Active listings for sales of approximately $6.5 million. <br /></li>
</ul></ul>
        HouseRaising reported that it has signed operating agreements with 17 experienced homebuilders to develop local operations to build up to twenty homes each a year. These operations are located in The Carolinas and the Gulf Coast regions, which includes Louisiana and Mississippi. <br />

        HouseRaising offers four types of business opportunities to custom homebuilders who wish to partner and take advantage of its unique custom homebuilding management process. These are: Series #100 business relationships with a single builder-owner who builds up to five homes a year; Series #200 business relationships with custom homebuilders who complete five to 20 homes annually; Series #300 operations employ a team of HR support experts and 15 builders to sell, design and build up to 50 homes a year. Series #400 is a zone operation, in which 150 to 300 homes will be built annually.<br />

        HouseRaising’s system and builder support network brings economies of scale to the ventures and its expert staff manages all vendor relationships. HouseRaising and builders share profits and all projects must meet HouseRaising exacting quality and operational standards.        <br />
