BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (PSU) -- OCTOBER 21, 2002 -- Darkness shrouds the
horizon, and thunderclouds boom overhead. Is this just normal northeastern
weather, or something else... something far more sinister? A milestone release
-- Development Platform 1.0.0 -- of the Twisted Network Framework is available
today indicates a potential major surge in the Reality Distortion Field (RDF)
that surrounds it.

Glyph Lefkowitz, who claims to be in this region of the country to "visit his
girlfriend", has been using the internet to remain connected to the
loosely-connected internet development group known only as "Twisted Matrix
Labs". Glyph had a few comments on the new release.

"With the 1.0.0 release, Twisted has reached an important milestone in its
maturity," he said from an undisclosed location. "Twisted is an incredible
specimen of internet technology, as powerful as it is robust, all at once the
most beautiful and terrifying thing you have ever seen." Further comments
dissolved bursts of static and incoherent babbling.

Other leading members of the Twisted team were equally pleased with the
project's progress. Itamar Shtull-Trauring spoke highly of it, saying "GIMME
THE CASH OR THE GIRL GETS IT!". After he recovered his wits and freed the
hostages, Mr. Shtull-Trauring's attorney relayed a revised analysis of
Twisted's progress: "Super-atomic-nanotechnology-now-with-extra-whammo
batteries included!".
