There wouldn't be much of a point until 
http://twistedmatrix.com/trac/ticket/3177 is fixed (this weekend, the 
sprint, bug radix), but if you were interested in addressing this 
problem, the best idea would probably be to look at an existing bit of 
link-checker software (there's a ton of them) and running it on the 
website and posting its results.  Writing new code in Twisted to do 
something as simple as checking hyperlinks is almost certainly a waste 
of time.

Thank you for volunteering to investigate and address this, though, of 
course ;-).
